Dr. Joe Ball
Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine 1983 Background: I received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Colorado State University in 1983 and have worked for Fremont Veterinary Hospital since April of 2001. I have practiced veterinary medicine in Durango, Montrose, Salida and Canon City. I have lived my whole life in Colorado growing up on a ranch in Durango with horses and cows. I have published the "Horseman's Emergency Handbook" and I have extensive experience in large animal pracitice. I have three daughters and two grandchildren all of whom I am very proud of. My entire family lives in Salida except for Chelsi who is presently enrolled at the University of Colorado in Boulder. Pets: I have two dogs named Raz and Champ. Special Interests: My areas of interest include small animal medicine, surgery and dentistry. I also enjoy the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and working in my garden.
