Dr. Garry Gotfredson
Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine 2008 Background: I grew up in Worland, a rural town in northern Wyoming and spent much of my time caring for our family livestock and haying business. My family raised chickens, goats, sheep, cows, horses and feeder pigs. It was during this time that I realized how much I enjoyed “doctoring” our animals at home, which fostered my desire to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. I graduated high school in 1997 and attended the University of Wyoming on a football scholarship where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. It was also during this time that I married my wife Janell Paris, also from Worland, WY in June of 2001. In 2004 I was accepted to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where I completed the preclinical requirements for my degree. I then completed my clinical experience at Iowa State University Veterinary School. I graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2008 with high honors. Pets: We have two cats, Max and Luey, who keep us entertained. Special Interests: I have an interest in all species of veterinary patients including cats, dogs, bovine, and equine. I do my best to stay updated on the most recent medical research in order to treat our patients with the highest quality medicine. My other interests include the outdoors, especially camping, hunting and fishing.. |
